This is a place for holiday when you have something very special to celebrate. It is so picturesque that almost every evening there were couples having wedding photos taken at the end of the causeway. It's almost like staying on a yacht but without the downsides. As well as the air conditioned rooms indoors, there is a shady patio overlooking the causeway which was just perfect for late afternoon relaxation. The Castella is just outside Split and there are beaches within walking distance. A ten minute walk by the sea brings you to some ffine bars and restaurants. Although it is between Split and Trogir, it is a very quiet location very much off the tourist trail.
